50+ years coaching. Hall of Fame. Youth sports leader. Father of five. Collector since 1985. Where coaching and collecting intersect.

Measuring up to Victor Wembanyama · NBA Summer League · Las Vegas, NV · 2026
Coach Winn has spent more than five decades on sidelines and in gyms, building one of the most successful youth basketball résumés in the history of California high school basketball. Thousands of practices, hundreds of teams, and a whole lot of kids who learned that effort travels.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Digital Arts with minors in journalism and graphic design, and served as a sports journalism editor in both high school and college — publishing for several newspapers along the way. That training is why this site reads like a magazine instead of a catalog.
Off the court, he's a father of five adult children — four daughters and a son — and the family runs deep in sports, stories, and Sunday arguments about who has the better team.
Loyalties (Non-Negotiable)
Off the Clock
Collecting, movies, and pop culture landmarks — from card shows and record shops to museums, studio tours, and whatever roadside piece of Americana is worth the detour.
Five kids. Five decades of coaching. One very full vault. The through-line has always been the same: the story matters more than the price tag.
Some people collect value. I've always collected memories.
From the first crinkle of a wax pack to the quiet halls of my personal vault, my journey has never been about the market cap. It's about the feeling of holding a piece of history.
Every card, every record, every jersey in this room has a heartbeat. Winn Collectibles is a marketplace built by a collector — because the best things deserve to be passed on.
Growing up playing multiple sports, the game was everything. For my brothers and me, it was our identity. Sports cards were the easiest way to hold a piece of the game and connect with our heroes. I grew up bleeding for the Dodgers, the Lakers, and the Dallas Cowboys, and I've stayed loyal ever since.
I got serious in 1985 and haven't looked back. Over my career, I've stood in early morning lines waiting for hobby shops to open and attended over 1,000 card shows and hobby shops, including the history-making 1991 National Sports Card Collectors Convention in Anaheim, CA. And it's not just sports cards — it's vinyl records, Beanie Babies, memorabilia, photos, jerseys, Funko Pops, comic compendiums, and skate decks. You name it, I've probably collected it.
I built this site to share a hobby I deeply care about. I want to pass these items on to collectors — both new and old — who feel the same connection to them that I do. Thank you for visiting and spending time with my heroes. They just might be yours, too.
